Special Needs Planning is a complex and multi disciplinary area of practice and often utilizes expertise amongst a variety of professionals including legal, medical care, governmental resources, tax, and financial planning. Mistakes are very costly if the coordinated plan of care is not implemented properly. The goal with the panel discussion is to assemble some of the top experts in their respective professionals for a round table discussion on how special needs planning works, different techniques and considerations, and go over potential problems and solutions for several case studies to illustrate the colloborative nature of taking care of families with special needs individuals.
Panelists:
- Ellen Cookman, JD, LL.M - Special Needs Planning Attorney
- Ann Koenher, RN, BSN, CRRN - CEO and Founder of National Care Advisors
- Dante Q Allen, MCM - Executive Director of CalABLE
Moderated by: Darryl H. Ng, CFP, ChSNC, CDFA, ChFC, CLTC
